For employees of On-Premise establishments like bars, restaurants, clubs, and banquet facilities, BASSET training is required by the Illinois Liquor Control Commission (ILCC) to be at least 4 hours in length.
For employees of Off-Premise establishments like grocery stores, convenience stores, gas stations, and liquor stores, BASSET training is required by ILCC to be at least 3 hours in length.
Both On-Premise and Off-Premise BASSET cards are valid for a period of 3 years.
